My family use to go here to have picnics, when more of the castle stood. Through the years I've taken pictures and watched it slowly die. Now it's gone, bulldozed over, but Some of us still remember.
It was built by a man for his wife, but she never got to see it. She died and he waited there til he became the spirit that haunted the walls and land. Maybe now they're together at last. |
